For those who disbelieve the "Hiatus" even existed

There has been much debate whether the "hiatus" ever existed in the surface temperature data sets.  Below is a graph I captured in 2015 using the WoodForTrees graphing tool. The reason I captured the data then was that the US data was about to change due to a new re-analysis of sea surface temperature data. This change occurred across the world, albeit with some slight differences. Its announced goal was to improve the data. The effect was to remove the "Hiatus" from the existing US agencies, NOAA and NASA GISS, data adopting it.
